we are sort of hung up, just a little bit, on getting the apartment. close of escrow is now october 7. i am so tired of waiting! we put in an offer on august 15.
fortunately we are going to start moving in early, on sept 30. there will be a ton to do. for better or worse, for instance, the small walk-in closet in the bedroom has no closet rods or shelves. we will probably do an Elfa installation, but when we move, where will we hang the clothes?

ahhh, how exciting! we bought our place in williamsburg last year and the entire process took everything out of us.
from the pictures, this looks SO beautiful. french doors and white marble, oh my! we have typical ny dollhouse-sized closets so we installed elfa on every square inch. container store is having their 25% sale on elfa right now by the way.
thanks for the invite to crash, we finally ended up with hotel reservations for oct 20 + 21 at hotel tomo in japantown. know anything about that place? I already printed walking directions to get to your shop, it's at the top of the list! do you think you'll be there during the day on monday or tuesday?
then wed and thurs will be in sausalito. we'll pick up a rental car fri and drive out to muir woods/napa. trying to decide how long to stay there and then we leave sunday. short but i'm sure we'll want to come back soon!
